A Muslim who hates freedom of expression freely expresses himself

Anjem Choudary is an imam who lives in Britain; he collects £25,000 in welfare per year while despising the system and taxpayers who pay for his continuing vilification of all the West stands for.

He points out here, that the Charlie Hebdo murders were not only to be expected, they were a requirement of Islamic law. Living in a free democracy, Choudary is at liberty to say whatever he chooses, a right he would cheerfully deny those with whom he disagrees. If I were a Muslim – a common or garden moderate Muslim we keep hearing so much about – I would really, really want to shut him up. Moderate imams: convince me of your moderation by issuing a Choudary fatwa.

Contrary to popular misconception, Islam does not mean peace but rather means submission to the commands of Allah alone. Therefore, Muslims do not believe in the concept of freedom of expression, as their speech and actions are determined by divine revelation and not based on people’s desires.

Although Muslims may not agree about the idea of freedom of expression, even non-Muslims who espouse it say it comes with responsibilities. In an increasingly unstable and insecure world, the potential consequences of insulting the Messenger Muhammad are known to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Muslims consider the honor of the Prophet Muhammad to be dearer to them than that of their parents or even themselves. To defend it is considered to be an obligation upon them. The strict punishment if found guilty of this crime under sharia (Islamic law) is capital punishment implementable by an Islamic State. This is because the Messenger Muhammad said, “Whoever insults a Prophet kill him.”

Anjem Choudary to speak at Hay-on-Wye festival

From here:

Anjem Choudary – who praises Osama bin Laden and insists Islam will rule the world – has been invited to talk at a leading philosophy and music festival in Hay-on-Wye.

The former leader of the banned Islam4UK group is famous for planning to protest through the town of Wootton Bassett, where fallen British soldiers are honoured on their return from Afghanistan, and leading a prayer meeting to dead al-Qaeda leader bin Laden in London on Friday……

On its website, the festival says Choudary is “an outspoken advocate of Sharia law” and “a spokesperson for the group Islam4UK before it was banned by the Terrorism Act in 2010”.

Choudary advocates sharia law, a perniciously totalitarian mental and spiritual straightjacket that discourages listening to music and makes philosophy impossible because it disapproves of thinking. So it’s a bit odd that he has been invited to speak at a philosophy and music festival.

The Hay-on-Wye festival used to be a celebration of culture and civilisation: no more, it seems.

Many years ago, I lived in the Wye valley, a very pretty part of South Wales; at the time, the river was polluted with coal dust – a shame, but a more benign pollution than lunatic Islamists.

Loony Muslim cleric coming to the US to agitate for sharia law

From here:

A hardline Muslim cleric who sparked anger across the U.S. with his anti-American comments in a television interview this month is to hold a protest outside the White House.

British extremist Anjem Choudary – who once said ‘the flag of Islam will fly over the White House’ – has announced he will lead a demonstration calling on Muslims to establish the Sharia law across America.

The rally, planned for March 3, is to take place just weeks after his on-screen row with Fox News presenter Sean Hannity.

Mr Choudary, 43, called Americans ‘the biggest criminals in the world today.’

Anjem Choudary has the dubious distinction of being one of the few people to be dismissed as a ‘sick, miserable, evil S.O.B’ at the end of a TV interview.

Whether Choudary and his henchmen will be allowed into the US to peddle Islamism is in doubt.

What is in no doubt at all – other than the accuracy of the above epithets – is that, if Choudary had his way, he would not allow any criticism of sharia law, let alone demonstrations against it.

Here is the Hannity interview:

UK: Islamists launch “Christmas is evil” campaign

Apparently it’s a Muslim version of evangelism: win people to Islam by mocking Christmas and insulting Christians. That should work.

From here:

Fanatics from a banned Islamic hate group have launched a nationwide poster campaign denouncing Christmas as evil.

Organisers plan to put up thousands of placards around the UK claiming the season of goodwill is responsible for rape, teenage pregnancies, abortion, promiscuity, crime and paedophilia.

They hope the campaign will help ‘destroy Christmas’ in this country and lead to Britons converting to Islam instead…..

The placards, which have already appeared in parts of London, feature an apparently festive scene with an image of the Star of Bethlehem over a Christmas tree.

But under a banner announcing ‘the evils of Christmas’ it features a message mocking the song the 12 Days of Christmas.

It reads: ‘On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me an STD (sexually transmitted disease).

‘On the second day debt, on the third rape, the fourth teenage pregnancies and then there was abortion.’

According to the posters, Christmas is also to responsible for paganism, domestic violence, homelessness, vandalism, alcohol and drugs.

Another offence of Christmas, it proclaims, is ‘claiming God has a son’…..

The campaign’s organiser is 27-year-old Abu Rumaysah, who once called for Sharia Law in Britain at a press conference held by hate preacher leader Anjem Choudary, the leader of militant group Islam4UK.

Anjem Choudary, the politically incorrect Muslim

In this interview Choudary claims that, while he isn’t quite stupid enough to personally attack the people whose taxes keep him in comfort, he supports overseas efforts to take revenge on the West for trying to promote civilisation in Iraq and Afghanistan. In other words he supports those in Yemen who posted the bombs to US synagogues.

Moreover, he claims that, no matter what a Western Muslim may tell CNN in public, he will, in private agree with Choudary. Imam – it’s a cultural centre, not a mosque – Feisal Abdul Rauf undoubtedly would like to shove Choudary’s skull cap down his throat: the question is, is that because Rauf had been rumbled?
