The Planned Parenthood and Baby Parts Company

After the video showing Planned Parenthood selling baby parts emerged, Planned Parenthood published its own video denying the allegations.

Now another video has been released showing a different Planned Parenthood executive wrangling over the price of baby parts. Once again, “intact” parts are at a premium, necessitating the application of a “less crunchy technique” when murdering the baby.

The abortion industrial complex

Planned Parenthood is selling aborted baby parts – sorry “tissue”.

Apparently, intact livers and hearts are popular.

There is an online order form for easy part selection with an option for next day Fedex delivery.

Let’s remember, though, that the really upsetting thing about all this is that people are distributing leaflets with disagreeable images on them.

The controversial anti-abortion flyer just arrived in my mailbox

Here it is:

Abort frontAbort backUnsurprisingly, having this type of disturbing image landing in one’s mailbox has upset a number of people. This person was shocked – not so much by the fact that such an atrocity is a routine occurrence in Canada, but by the fact that she and her children were confronted with an image of it:

“I do not appreciate having filth like that put where my children can see it possibly and I don’t believe that stuff should be put in anybody’s mail box unwillingly,” said Rudachyk.

“My next-door neighbour’s five-year-old granddaughter went and got the mail yesterday, saw this thing, and promptly vomited on the floor. She was so frightened by the pictures.”

Rudachyk is among many parents who have expressed concern about their children seeing the images.

“It was very shocking. I’m not easily shocked, but it was disgusting, honestly,” Ali McIlmoyl said after finding one in her mailbox.

Someone else thinks distributing the flyer is “child abuse”, although he has failed to notice the rather more severe abuse that was visited on the unborn baby:

“As far as I’m concerned, this amounts to child abuse,” he said. “My next door neighbour’s granddaughter got the mail yesterday and when she saw it she was so traumatized, she vomited on the floor.”

I have really no idea whether the distribution of these kinds of images hurts or benefits the pro-life cause, but I find it interesting that, in an age of unfettered pornography with its gaudy images of sordid fantasy, what provokes the most disgust is drawing attention to a sordid reality.

Richard Dawkins thinks it is immoral to allow Down’s syndrome babies to be born

From here:

Richard Dawkins, the atheist writer, has claimed it is “immoral” to allow unborn babies with Down’s syndrome to live.

Having finally noticed about himself what others have known for years, he went on to say:

“Apparently I’m a horrid monster for recommending what actually happens to the great majority of Down Syndrome foetuses. They are aborted.”

Few atheists, including Richard Dawkins since he regularly tells anyone who will listen what he thinks is moral, are willing to live with the consequences of their beliefs. Without God, there can be no objective morality; without God there is no human essence, no common human nature; without God, we choose what we become, our essence is defined by that choice and the choice is arbitrary, as is the morality which results from the choice.

Richard Dawkins has chosen human feelings as the measure of whether a person is really a person; a foetus does not feel – supposedly – so, as a non-person, it is disposable. From a Christian perspective, a person is made in God’s image at the time of conception; that perspective makes Dawkins’ view – horrid and monstrous.

One consolation is that the Dawkins horrid monster atheistic persona is but a tepid copy of that enjoyed by murderous 20th century practitioners from Stalin to Pol Pot: they systematised atheism, imposed it on everyone they could and drove it to its inevitable, foul conclusion.

Linda Gibbons arrested again

Four police cruisers, three security cars and two sheriff’s officers showed up to arrest abortion protester Linda Gibbons yesterday. She did not manage to overpower them, but you can’t be too careful with 65 year old Christian grannies.

From here:

Just days after Linda Gibbons won an appeal and was acquitted of disobeying a court order over a previous demonstration at the “Morgentaler Clinic” in Toronto, she was arrested at the same abortion facility this morning.

It took police personnel in four cruisers, as well as three Garda World security cars and two sheriff’s officers, to take the diminutive grandmother into custody at around 11:30 a.m., some two-and-a-half hours after she first appeared at the site, pacing back and forth with pamphlets in hand. She was bearing her usual placard depicting a crying infant with the words, “Why, mom? When I have so much love to give.”

The Green Abortion

New Zealand’s Green Party wants to legalise abortion to “protect the right to end a pregnancy.”

Green fundamentalism, whether it comes from a political party or the church is similar in its diminishing of the uniqueness and importance of human life: the earth wasn’t made for Man, Man was made for the earth. So it’s not surprising, I suppose, that Greenies are obsessively protective of members of any endangered species as long as they are not humans still in the womb.

From here:

The Green Party has ratified a formal policy on abortion, making it the only party in Parliament to have one.

It would legislate to decriminalise abortion and protect the right to end a pregnancy.

Having an abortion in New Zealand is still a crime under the Crimes Act, unless a pregnant woman faces a danger to her life, physical or mental health.

Canadian oil not good enough for the USA so Canada exports foetuses instead

The US has postponed the decision whether it is ethically permissible to transport Canadian oil via the Keystone pipeline to supply energy to Texas.

Meanwhile, Oregon, also unwilling to burn detestable, polluting fracked Canadian oil, is importing aborted Canadian babies to burn instead. The dead babies, along with other medical “waste”, are placed in “sealed boxes and [are] carried to the furnace on a conveyor belt”. Remind you of anything?

From here:

The British Columbia Health Ministry has admitted that the remains of babies destroyed by abortion in B.C. facilities are ending up in a waste-to-power facility in the United States, providing electricity for residents of Oregon.

The province’s Health Ministry said in an email to the B.C. Catholic that “biomedical waste” shipped to the U.S. to be incinerated includes “human tissue, such as surgically removed cancerous tissue, amputated limbs, and fetal tissue.”

Aborted babies used to heat hospitals

A predictable consequence of treating unborn babies as little more than disposable waste tissue: Soylent Green energy.

From here:

The bodies of thousands of aborted and miscarried babies were incinerated as clinical waste, with some even used to heat hospitals, an investigation has found.

Ten NHS trusts have admitted burning foetal remains alongside other rubbish while two others used the bodies in ‘waste-to-energy’ plants which generate power for heat.

Last night the Department of Health issued an instant ban on the practice which health minister Dr Dan Poulter branded ‘totally unacceptable.’

At least 15,500 foetal remains were incinerated by 27 NHS trusts over the last two years alone, Channel 4’s Dispatches discovered.

Another reason for belonging to ACNA

Unlike the ACoC and TEC who ceaselessly prattle about social justice while studiously ignoring the systematic killing of millions of unborn children every year, ACNA takes a stand against abortion.

The best that TEC can do comes from Rev Katherine Ragsdale who has declared that abortions are a blessing and abortionists, heroes; the ACoC is too timid to say anything.

March for Life 2014

An invitation to the March for Life from Archbishop Duncan

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

In Deuteronomy 30:19 Moses says, “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”

This exhortation reminds us of the profound importance God places on life, especially our children, born and unborn. Furthermore, the Canons of the Anglican Church in North America include this declaration of our commitment to life: God, and not man, is the creator of human life. The unjustified taking of life is sinful. Therefore, all members and Clergy are called to protect and respect the sanctity of every human life from conception to natural death (Canon II.8.3).
