An Imam speaks at Synod

The Imam spoke about interfaith dialogue. He sounded more sensible than most of the Anglican clergy. He ended his talk by saying something that you won’t hear from the bishops: “we should unite against our common enemies of secularism and liberalism”. Obviously no one briefed him on the fact that he was in the midst of an organisation that is a bastion of secularism and liberalism.

Funnily enough, nobody asked him what he thinks about same-sex marriage.

  1. Between signing on to ‘Common Word’ (Koran) and signing away “Evangelizing”
Jews the ACC managed to fell Pentecost + Acts 2 and our LORD Jesus Christ’s founding + Matthew 28:18-20 Great Commission in two anti-Scriptural Resolutions replacing Gospel Proclamation with “dialogue”.
In light of that greater apostasy, gay ‘marriage’ is majoring in the minors.

  2. Why would the opinion of an Iman would have any relevance for the Anglican Church of Canada ? … probably as much relevance the opinion of Hare Krishna would have for fundamentalist, extreme right-wing so-callled Christian nut jobs would have … at the end of the day Anglican gay couples will keep marrying either in civil or religious ceremonies, regardless of what an Iman or anybody can say

    Suck that lemon !

    • Yes, indeed gay couple will keep on marrying in the same way as some might gamble, commit adultery, steal, etc. but you and I both know this is clearly against the teaching of SCRIPTURE. True genuine Christians will endeavour to live by THE WORD – not to satisfy their own sinful desires. Clearly the so-called bishops that endorse sinful activity should be removed from office.
