Liberal voting methodology: if the vote doesn’t go our way – vote again!

A vote to “reconsider” the marriage canon vote is underway. In other words, the synod will vote on whether to revote for the marriage canon change.

Unbelievable!

The motion failed. What will the bishops come up with tomorrow?

  1. Perhaps these anti-Biblical ‘Bishops’ just would ‘Sexit’ the ACC;
    the Revisionist United Reform UK would now welcome them.

  2. So the only purpose of the “vote” was to get people opposed to lie down and accept it, if the vote went as those proposing hoped. And if the vote didn’t work; keep voting until it did!

    This process is, therefore, a sham. The decision has been taken.

    Isn’t it interesting to see the apparently endless lack of integrity in all this? If we did not know that sodomy was an evil, we would find out from the methods used to advance it. Only one Power relies on lying as its modus operandi.

  3. This simply is further proof that the ACoC is no longer a Christian church but rather a “whatever they think the public wants church” — notice the small “c”. There is simply no hope for the ACoC and any genuine orthodox diocese should immediately resign from the ACoC and become part of ANIC. The only thing the ACoC does well is to steal properties from genuine orthodox Christians by using the civil courts to accomplish their goal.
    The Christian approach to the so-called lesbian groups would be to show them the Gospel. Lesbianism or homosexual is NOT an identity but a behaviour that is totally contrary to Scripture and is definitely NOT something for a so-called ‘PRIDE’ parade. If the ACoC or any other church claiming to be Christian it would provide counselling, NOT endorsement of such activity.
