Is it just me, or is this the most lugubriously dolorous Easter message ever delivered?

It smacks of having come straight from a Public Relations Agency. I was shocked to hear Fred Hiltz mention Jesus Christ in this instance, actually; I have heard him speak several times (not by choice), and he usually leaves out the “religious bits”.

That little snip-it is merely a bit of liturgy – like crossing your fingers while saying or mumbling the Nicene Creed. Another joint Synod or two, and it will be discarded as, so, 20th century!
