Chief Theresa Spence proves dieting doesn't work

At last I have found proof that there is no point in dieting.

Here is Chief Theresa Spence after not eating for 20 days; a person starving herself to death:

And here she is one year ago:

CHIEFS-CONFERENCE

Clear evidence that dieting makes you gain weight. Unless Theresa Spence is cheating by gorging on midnight snacks; surely not!

    • From here:

On average, a typical faster loses approximately one pound per day during a water-only fast. Initially, the loss may approach two or even three pounds per day for the first few days if the person is retaining significant sodium and water. This can decrease to approximately half a pound per day in the later stages of a fast. From day two onward, the body begins utilizing fatty tissues for energy, thereby conserving as much muscle tissue as possible, a mechanism called protein sparing.

So she should have lost around 20lbs – 20 invisible pounds, it seems.

Here is a photo taken Tuesday, 28 days after the fast started – 8 more ethereal pounds gone:

      • The lady would appear to be suffering from Metabolic Syndrome. Let’s hope her fast will improve her health. It could even save her life.

  1. I heard on the radio yesterday that her so-called fasting was for solid food only. Perhaps she is eating a lot of soup? The same report stated that she was in poor health. I find it hard to believe that person as obviously overweight as she is could be in poor health from a “fast” after only three weeks. Perhaps her poor health is from her obesity.

  2. I, like Chief Theresa, have extra pounds, and when I follow the healthy , filling, Wieght Watchers plan, lose 30 pounds the first 28 days. Reports say she is having beef broth several times a day, and water. Not a hunger strike at that, and it would seem a publicity event. I pray for her health, and that she loses wieght someday, and I pray she is trying to improve the conditions and lot of Native peoples.
Evidence seems to indicate otherwise, and it is a case of trying to protect the status-quo, and have more government funding for her and her live-in “co-manager” to administer and partake of.
A new description of this, and other governments, (like our Provincial), one would apply here.
    INEPTOCRACY
“A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of choosing them, and are the least likely to sustain themselves, or succeed, and are rewarded with goods and services paid for by confiscating the wealth of a diminishing number of producers.”
WELL—the well is already empty, we are just pumping out the water that is borrowed to fill the well, until it all dries up.
