The vanity of youth

I was a teenager in the ‘60’s when Bob Dylan decided that the times were changing. I believed him. I thought my generation was going to make everything different. I suppose I was right to some extent: things are worse now.

Bob Dylan put it this way:

Come mothers and fathers throughout the land
And don’t criticize what you can’t understand
Your sons and your daughters are beyond your command

Your old road is rapidly aging

Bishop Susan Bell, having fallen under the spell of Greta Thunburg, says much the same thing. The Bishop is old enough to know better and, unlike, I suspect, Bob Dylan, believes the tripe she is peddling.

Here is the earnest Greta giving an impassioned – nay, hysterical – theatrical diatribe   demonstrating the veracity of Ecclesiastes 1:9:

What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there a thing of which it is said, “See, this is new”? It has been already in the ages before us.

  1. I feel sorry for this child, actually. The environmentalist hysteria is being taught in schools as fact and promoted through numerous channels. This earnest child has taken it all in with whole-hearted belief. Did we think the children would take all of this information we were throwing at them and not really believe it? Or only believe it enough to support the causes and political parties we wished they would?

    • Meanwhile, in the UK (Northern Ireland excepted…yet!) and Scotland, Crown, Church, Courts and Parliaments have bowed the knee to Baalism – EU Cultural Marxism in its Latter Days mode, imperiling the spiritual, social and physical weal of their own children and youth by formal instruction in a panoply of evil and sin:RES, by its specious UK designation.
As posted already, a `Millstone`set in a sulphur sea.
      + Matthew 18:1-11.

  2. As the global and Globalist source of gender *”confusion”+ (Sweden, 1972), is there not a better voice for Mother Nature and for Father GOD Who Created them “at the beginning made them male and female…father and mother…man and wife”?
“Have ye not read?” *+ Leviticus chs.18-20 + Matthew ch.19.

  3. What is this woman in bishops clothing saying??? That we have sacred duty to listen to our young children?!?!?!? Has she not read the Holy Bible that God gave us? In it we are told to instruct our children in the ways of God, which is the opposite of what this Susan Bell person is saying.

But I see that she is an official from the anglican club of Canada, and so it now makes sense that she has almost certainly not read the Holy Bible and has no fricken clue of what she talks about.
