Every one of Osteen’s books (and TD Jakes’ books too), have a great big picture of the author on the cover. I think that tells you a lot about what they are about.
I just listened to the video. Wow. What an insidiously skewed message. Some of what he says is spot on – some of us do struggle with negative thought patterns, and we need God’s help to get out of them. But – God’s blessing isn’t material, and there’s where he goes dangerously wrong.
