The Diocese of Niagara sinks to newly plumbed depths of infamy

As reported here, the diocese could not make up its mind on who to sue: ANiC parishes or the wardens of the parishes.

Last week they decided. In court their lawyer announced that the diocese is seeking over $200,000 in court costs from the wardens of the parishes: Bishop Michael Bird and his cohorts in this sordid villainy are out to punish church volunteers. It’s hard to envisage a more contemptible, pecksniffian, anti-Christian act, but I expect the scelestious BirdPatterson duo will find one.

Oh, yes, they also want to chuck the rector out of his home.

  1. Having had the privilege of knowing each of the wardens at St. Hilda’s for more than 25 years,I can tell you that they have dedicated their lives to serve Jesus. For decades they have given generously of their time and money to minister to the lost, the sick, the poor, the broken and those in prison. Unlike this man, they serve not for money, not for power, but for one the one reason he will never understand. They do it for love.

To see how this man is using the courts to go after the very throats of these Godly dedicated servants, I can only wonder when the sleeping sheep will recognize the wolf among them.

This wolf is committed to attack and destroy the brethren, until every knee will bow to him, every church is empty, and the new Christ that he has made in his image is worshipped and glorified.

  2. I am not one who is often caught underestimating the depths to which the ACoC will sink, but I honestly believed that the threat to sue the wardens was a “chill tactic” that would never be pursued.
Under no circumstances could a Christian engage in this kind of vicious behaviour.
Bird and his cronoies will have much to answer for when their time comes.
    Peace,
    Jim

  3. “Signs of madness”? To check for signs of madness (AKA “Not normal”) our local nuthouse warden has a simple plan. He has a bathtub filled with water and hands the prospective client a bucket, a cup, and a teaspoon and asks how the subject intends to empty the bathtub. Many choose the bucket but the ones who pass the test and are considered “normal” are the ones who just pull the plug.
They should just pull the plug on Niagara and be done with it instead of emptying the pews buy the bucketful with all this grand sounding “social justice” codswallop.
