  1. Seriously…

What an unfair analysis. Where are the number for the RCs, UCC, Salvation Army etc. This is a one-sided coin. You can throw all the boulders you want at the ACC of Canada, but your conclusions are moot without a comparison of other denominations.

    • From what I have observed (which I will state right off is not scientific by any means) is simply this. Denominations such as the United, Presbyterian, and Lutherin, which have had similar revisions in theology and erosion of historic beliefs are also experiencing similar declines. Meanwhile, the Roman Catholics and Orthadox (nationally) are at least maintaining their numbers, and in some areas of the country are experiencing growth (you should see some of the new Churches being built in Brampton, they are HUGE).

The simple facts for us Anglicans are these:
      1. My parents generation is no longer making babies, and are now dying.
      2. My generation is not making enough babies to replace ourselves.
      3. Many of my generation have left the Church (and not gone to another denomination).
Thus the Anglican Church of Canada is failing to keep the Parishioners that it had, and is also failing to attract new Parishioners.
Meanwhile, other Provinces of the Worldwide Anglican Communion (which have maintained historic Christian beliefs) are actually growing.
The trend is clear. Drift away from God and your Church will die.
