Richard Dawkins illustrates the atheist’s moral dilemma

In this audio clip, Dawkins is cornered into admitting that, without God, morality is arbitrary. Dawkins’ reluctance is born of that fact that, just like everybody else, he really doesn’t believe that morality is arbitrary. If he were as reasonable as he would like us to think, he should acknowledge that humanity’s innate belief in non-arbitrary morality is evidence for God’s existence.

But he’s not that reasonable.

  1. You are just trying to twist one very little point Dawkins makes to bend to your propaganda. The most important point in this whole exchange is not about arbitrary morality, but the fact that the supernatural does not exist. Sorry sir, but the probability of your god existing is very close to zero. As for your last sentence for evidence of your god–it is laughable. There exists absolutely zero evidence for any of the 1,000s of gods that have been invented by men thru-out history. Zeus bless you.

  2. If you really think that it is a very little point that whether rape is right or wrong is morally arbitrary, then God help the women in your life.

Oh, sorry, I forgot: there is no God.
