Rabbit’s ears and the bishop

Kevin Robertson is a homosexual bishop in the Anglican Church of Canada. He is unapologetic about what would at one time seem to be an unlikely combination: a male Anglican bishop married to another man.

Perhaps this improbable juxtaposition has unhinged his sensibilities or possibly the photographing of oneself with faux rabbit’s ears has liturgical significance. Or perhaps this signals an arcane sexual invitation beyond the comprehension of those immersed in the mundane confines of heterosexual mores. We may never know, but here is Kevin in multiple poses with rabbit’s ears:

  1. With his purple shirt and white collar he might well be considered as a “bishop” by the world’s standards but he is clearly nothing less than an apostate by Christian standards with his not only willingness to live in sin but also in his boasting in doing so. It is not in the least surprising to see the ACoC’s rapid descent into apostasy and irrelevance. Satan must be pleased with his servant. .

  2. “James…known as the brother of The LORD…surnamed the Righteous because of his outstanding virtue…was the first to be Elected to the Throne of the Jerusalem Church…James the Righteous, John, and Peter, were entrusted by The LORD after His Resurrection, with the higher knowledge. They imparted it to the other Apostles…There were two Jameses, one the Righteous, who was thrown down from the parapet and beaten to death with a fuller’s club, the other the James who was beheaded…”
Eusebius, (263-339 +AD) Book II, The History of The Church.
None sought a tiara; but as the first martyr, Stephanos/’crown, the crown of Life Eternal Promised by our LORD in His + Revelation ch. 2:10 to all the faithful in the fallen/”blasphemy” Church of Smyrna; such Promise reaffirmed by + James ch. 1:12 ff.
“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation:for when he is tried, he shall receive the Crown of LIfe, which The LORD hath promised to him that love Him….(for) lust… bringeth forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” Amen.

  3. I just want to add that if you do a moderately diligent Internet search for an association between, say, the two terms: “rabbit ears” and “homosexuality”, you will find such, and your knowledge of the world (and I mean in the sense of “the World, the Flesh, and the Devil”) will increase marginally in a direction you may not then appreciate, and also wonder if your effort might have been spent in a more productively spiritual way. Especially, as it did for me, if you bump into, for example, the Hunky Jesus Contest held annually every Easter Sunday. As they say, don’t go there.
