Appreciate these updates. Wish I could see a transcript of the diocese claiming to the judge that it needed the building.

The comparison in attitudes; sacrifice rather than selfishness, building rather than contracting, giving rather than sueing … is stunning.
Has St. Hilda’s been de-consecrated? There is a service called “Secularizing a Consecrated Building” in my Book of Occassional Services (pg 204).(Episcopalean book, 1979).
