  1. I have always pictured the Mount of Beatitutes a peaceful and pastoral place, a gentle rolling hill, open to nature, unencumbered by the mark of man. For our Saviour had no church building, no arena, no basilica, only the open skies that He created. Often I have imagined, sitting transfixed to His words, and His person, as He opened up the Word of God.
    Such a beautiful place.
    (He had, and has, a church without walls, divisions,or denominations, only disciples.)

  2. I wonder which, if any, of these pictures Jesus would recognise. Possibly the last one, or maybe the ruins of the synagogue at Capernaum?
