It is not so much that Thatcher debunked socialism but rather with what she replace it with. After she signed the al-Yamamah arms deal with Saudi Arabia, her son Mark Thatcher “was alleged, based on transcripts of telephone conversations between Saudi princes and agents, to have enjoyed £12m in commissions.”
Jimmy Savile is alleged to have spent a dozen Christmases with the Thatchers. Whether the allegations of paedophilia surrounding Jimmy are true or just a smokescreen to protect the Muslim paedophiles raping the British children is unknown to me but Thatcher never did clear up the paedophile accusations regarding some of her cabinet minsters.But she did break the unions, lower the workers standard of living and flood the country with what we euphemistically call cheap labour. Harold Macmillan politely referred to her actions as “selling off the family silver.”
