4 thoughts on “Liberalism, the great disease of our society

  1. It would seem to me that the terms “conservative” and “liberal” have long ago lost any truly intrinsic significance politically in the classical sense of Disraeli vs Gladstone.

These days – certainly in Canada – they appear to have become merely sectarian markers, like “Catholic” and “Protestant” in Northern Ireland.

  2. In our society – Canada and the U.S. – conservatives are looked upon as out of date as we have moral standards and endeavour to maintain true Christian values whereas liberals are looked upon as doing whatever one likes with absolutely no consideration for moral standards. For Christians we must work to uphold to the “conservative” position and NOT be taken by the so-called liberal standards which claim to give us freedom but actually enslave us and will eventually ruin our society.

  3. As Malcolm Muggeridge revealed in his ‘The End of Christendom, But Not of Christ’ (1980), when the WWII Nazi hordes were bearing down on Communist Russia, Stalin sent not for his copy of ‘Das Kapital’; instead, he ordered the release of the Orthodox Priests languishing in the Gulag…to pray.
This present Cultural Marxist Government and its disloyal Opposition are creating their own Gulag against faithful-as-in-Bible-believing Christians not only in Canada; but exporting their anti-Scriptural policies globally, ‘aid’ for ill-conceived pelf, if one “attests”.
Worth considering is ‘Marxism Didn’t Die. It Is Alive and Well, and Living Among Us’,
by Peter Hitchens, ‘The Spectator’, June 14, 2018.
Its classic hallmarks:disdain for children; life-long marriage;Christianity; patriotism; and education to become “a mechanism for enforced egalitarianism…vigorously promoted
abortion and easy divorce”. Sounds/looks like “2015” Canada/EuroCommunEU; with the mainline denominational acolytes following on, slavishly.
