Kathleen Wynne guest speaker at synod

Ontario’s premier, Kathleen Wynne was a guest speaker at the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario’s recent synod.

Other than the fact that the Anglican Church of Canada has reimagined itself into a political lobbying organisation – albeit an impotent and penniless specimen – I’m not sure why she was there. Perhaps it was to garner advice from the real experts on how further to spice up her controversial sex education propaganda.

She claimed to have a good time:

Bishop Michael Bird chatted with her about poverty. It’s understandable: the ACoC has fallen on hard times of late:

  1. The apostates continue to prove they have no regard for the Gospel but have the sole concern of winning approval from secular society. After all, they relied on the secular courts to seize properties from orthodox Christians even though in many cases they made absolutely no contributions toward the property. They may well have received approval from politicians but they will have a different reception before our Lord on the day of judgement. The ACoC is no longer Christian and those who claim to be bishops have to learn that it takes more than a purple shirt and white collar to make a true Christian bishop.

  2. Another subject they share in common, by Residential precedent for one, and by current sexucational policy for the other, begins with a “p” – lots to talk about there.
