I only have one question: Why is there an asterisk attached to “Trans”? Is it a wildcard that permits any other combination of letters? Like Transistor?

Now I get it. Creating labels and terminology modifies reality: pronoun selection bends the universe to ney/nem’s will. I was right, a Trans* person really could be a Transistor.
Why has no one thought of this before? It’s so convenient.
I am equally bemused, in the Queer and Trans* 101 Virtual Workshop description, by “You will also leave with concrete tools ..”. A bit ambiguous, but I would assume tools for working with concrete rather than tools made of concrete. If so, what have any of the items you see in, for example,

got to do with what the workshop seems to be about ? Perhaps the Diocese of Huron, and the Anglican Church of Canada generally, would be better off with some sort of spiritual outreach to the people who work with concrete – wasn’t Jesus some type of construction worker with his dad before he took up his full-time ministry ? – than with pandering to those with a fixation on the “latest and greatest” edition of the Newspeak Dictionary.
