Diocese of Huron Bishop urges parishioners to throw themselves into local orgy of homoerotic exhibitionism

Pastorally sensitive bishops like to sugar-coat things, so she did not put it quite like that. Instead, we have:

Our presence in the [Annual London Pride] Parade, supported by Bishop Linda Nicholls and the Diosesan office will form behind the banner “Proud Anglicans”.

Even parishioners who intend to leave their clothes on should bring sun screen.

  1. Well, first, I was born in 1960

    This sort of topic was almost unheard of but if it was not very informed either resulting in derogatory comments

    But now this sort of thing has almost gone to a halt which is good because we’re trying -to make up the wrongs- and rightly so.

    So, where do we go?

    Now after reading this article the above has come to mind

    It’s wrong to wrong a person

    It’s better instead to right a person

    But the way it’s being done here am not sure if it’s right?

  2. Just further proof that the ACoC has lost all claim to be Christian and now worships the “god of political expediency”. This person is NOT a bishop in the Christian community but a genuine apostate that should be removed from office.

  3. I have to say that gross ignorance, crass incompetence and a doctrinaire dedication to spreading lies are horrifying at any level, but when people of either sex make a public exhibition of themselves in these ways they are doubly and triply so. For me as a feminist who thinks it proper that my own sex when suitably qualified should be found in high places, the elevation to such a position of a woman who has read nothing, and never twigged that no sexual perversion is in the real interests of the female of the species and her children, is not merely horrifying, it is acutely embarrassing. We had a bad case of this some years back in senior administration at UBC; but there the consequences were temporal, not eternal.

    I fear that there can be no doubt that she has swallowed the whole misogynistic bill of goods, among other things the nonsense that ‘sexual orientation’ is immutable but sex may be changed.

    !!!

    But then I labour under the terrible disadvantage of having been taught long ago how to tell a good argument from a bad one.

  4. This entire decent from Grace began with the innovation and infliction of woman ordination, which is not Biblical. It was a turning away from the Word of God because a bunch of people wanted something different than what God had ordained. And see now where this sin has led us.

    Thankfully it is never too late to turn away from sin, including these sins, repent and submit to Jesus. Sadly I doubt that these sin seekers will ever to that.

  5. Regrettable that the Bishop missed the London Pride Parade, account for which is given at ‘Conservative Woman’ (v. ‘Anglican Mainstream’) by The Reverend Peter Watson (he attended along with other Christians, subject to both verbal and physical attacks, there to protest peacefully and lovingly to share The Gospel + John 3:16 ;
    which is not The Gayspel);
    ‘O to be in England when the fields are rainbow!’…well there still remains General Synod in Vancouver!
