I noticed in the second picture the banner is misquoting 1 Cor 13:13. The AcoC is using the abominable NRSV which is translated from the horrific critical text and the translation method was not word to word thereby resulting in a disgusting imitation. The correct English Version of the Holy Bible, that being the King James / Authorized Version has the correct translation that reads “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” Also notice that the banner completely ignores faith and hope. Giving something of an indication of the narrow obsession that the AcoC now has with perverted sex.
Using the word “charity” or “love” is by no means contradictory provided one accepts the Christian view. The Bible is very clear on the matter of homosexuality and no so-called bishop or any other person has the authority to change the authority of Scripture. What we are witnessing within the ACoC and other so-called liberal churches is the worship of that detestable “god of political expediency” and thus they have walked away from the TRUTH and no longer worship the GOD of the Scriptures.
I wonder how much “love” these people have for “racists”, etc? Not much, I’d guess. #Humbug
