  1. no doubt all smiles at the Niagara Diocese Synod (being held today and tomorrow) for their new positive cash position- sad and totally disgusting this whole sordid affair- God help them (they are going to need it when they are called to their real account)

  2. I committed my life to Christ and experienced the awesome power of His Spirit in that building. As did my wife and my children. While it is sad that my grandchildren had to be baptized in a Knights of Columbus hall. I rejoice in the fact that we have more than bricks and motar to call home. The awesome power of His presence is with us every Sunday when we gather to celebrate His love, mercy and grace. St. Hilda’s church can not be demolished for the gates of hell shall nor prevail against us. We are His people, His sheep, we know His voice. I fear the leaders of the Niagara Diocese have forgotten what that voice sounds like.

  3. I am so, so sorry to see that church destroyed and for those who attended. There wasn’t anything structurally wrong with it, was there? The diocese just wanted to put it out of their misery?
