Imam reads from Koran at installation of Diocese of Huron Dean

After 11 years of serving as a priest in the Diocese of New Westminster under Bishop Michael Ingham, Rev. Kevin Dixon has returned to the Diocese of Huron as Dean of the cathedral.

At his installation, Imam Jamal Taleb of the London Mosque read from the Koran. An auspicious beginning.

  1. I am going to have to question Bishop Bennet on this one. Most disturbing if true. How could he possibly allow a reading from the koran to occur in his Cathedral???? If anything he should be stating with absolute clarity that the koran is NOT a Holy book and should be discarded as it is nothing short of outright heresey.

  2. An Imam reading from the Q’uran in a “christian” church?
    YAWN… Nothing new about that.

But a Christian being allowed to read from the Bible in a mosque… now THAT would be newsworthy!!

Wake me up if and when it ever happens…
