The Canadian government does not deprive women living in Canada from access to safe abortions; it is therefore hypocritical and unjust that it tries to do so abroad.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What the Lancet fails to mention is that 115,000 babies die <em>every day <\/em>from abortions that are decidedly unsafe for the babies. The Lancet is right about one thing, though: it is not hypocritical for Canada to refuse to export an evil domestic practice, but it is inconsistent.
