How out of touch with normal people is the climate change conference in Copenhagen?<\/p>\n<p>Here is a random selection of climate chicanery:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/en.cop15.dk\/blogs\/behind+the+scenes\" target=\"_blank\">Sustainable Fashion<\/a> with raincoats designed to keep you dry from the crotch up \u2013 in a green sort of way:<a href=\"http:\/\/en.cop15.dk\/blogs\/behind+the+scenes\"><br \/>\n<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/en.cop15.dk\/files\/images\/Blogs\/behind%20the%20scenes\/Fashion_496.jpg\" alt=\"Add an Image\" width=\"496\" height=\"321\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Worn out clich\u00e9s: <a href=\"http:\/\/en.cop15.dk\/news\/view+news?newsid=2257\" target=\"_blank\">Failure in Copenhagen is not an option<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Regurgitated <a href=\"http:\/\/www-03.ibm.com\/ibm\/history\/exhibits\/vintage\/vintage_4506VV2024.html\" target=\"_blank\">IBM<\/a> slogans: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitcopenhagen.com\/content\/us7\/green_events?EventID=1031\" target=\"_blank\">Re-Think<\/a><\/li>\n<li>A ping-pong of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitcopenhagen.com\/content\/us7\/green_events?EventID=1103\" target=\"_blank\">Climate Words and Climate Music<\/a> (I\u2019d like to make fun of this, but it\u2019s beyond me).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitcopenhagen.com\/content\/us7\/green_events?EventID=1085\" target=\"_blank\">International ecumenical worship<\/a> with Rowan Williams, who, in spite all evidence to the contrary is known for his championing of hot-air reduction.
