{"id":6126,"date":"2009-10-28T11:47:55","date_gmt":"2009-10-28T15:47:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/anglicansamizdat.wordpress.com\/?p=6126"},"modified":"2009-10-28T11:47:55","modified_gmt":"2009-10-28T15:47:55","slug":"every-time-a-bell-rings-an-angel-inhales-co2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/every-time-a-bell-rings-an-angel-inhales-co2\/","title":{"rendered":"Every time a bell rings an Angel inhales CO2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to ZuZu Bailey in Frank Capra&#8217;s &#8220;It&#8217;s a Wonderful Life&#8221;, <em>&#8220;Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Not exactly biblical, but everyone enjoys a sentimental film at Christmas and no-one takes it very seriously \u2013 although these days, perhaps some do.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.anglicanjournal.com\/nc\/100\/article\/-90d4d36958\/\" target=\"_blank\">Here<\/a> is the contemporary equivalent from the Green Team at St. Paul\u2019s Anglican Church in Uxbridge; as is the case with much that is modern, twice as silly and four times as superstitious as the original.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Green Team at St. Paul\u2019s Anglican Church in Uxbridge, Ont. rang their church bell 350 times as part of the 350.org climate change campaign on Oct. 24. The team was part of an international demonstration involving 182 nations.
