The problem with his tweet, though, is that the hospital was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12644477\/Israels-evidence-hospital-bloodbath-caused-misfired-rocket-Gaza-terrorists-IDF-claims-satellite-photos-footage-wiretapped-phone-call-prove-isnt-blame-horror.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bombed by Hamas<\/a>, not Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Welby later, in a face-saving backpedal, said <em>\u201c<\/em><em>We must exercise restraint in apportioning blame until the facts are clear.\u201d <\/em>He should have said \u201cI\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-30164\" src=\"https:\/\/anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2023-10-18_131029.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"883\" height=\"349\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2023-10-18_131029.jpg 883w, https:\/\/www.anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2023-10-18_131029-300x119.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2023-10-18_131029-768x304.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2023-10-18_131029-500x198.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 883px) 100vw, 883px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What he failed to note was that the rocket was <em>intentionally<\/em> aimed at civilians, it just hit the wrong ones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday Justin Welby quoted the BBC saying: Hundreds feared dead or injured in Israeli air strike on hospital in Gaza: He is correct, of course, it is an appalling loss of innocent lives.
