It may work for ze, but does it work for God?<\/p>\n<p>Justin Welby <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/02\/08\/church-of-england-might-give-god-gender-neutral-pronouns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thinks<\/a> (there I go again, another oxymoron) it might:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, the religious head of the church, previously said that \u201cGod is not male or female\u201d or \u201cdefinable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll human language about God is inadequate and to some degree metaphorical,\u201d he said in 2018.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Church of England is thinking &#8211; yes, I know, an oxymoron, but bear with me \u2013 of using gender neutral words when referring to God.
