Now 27, Douglas has been campaigning for the past few years to have the advertisements removed from public property.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The nub of the problem is the phenomenon that was unheard of before 2010: triggering. The notion is that if a person is exposed to an idea which runs contrary to his conditioning, it might upset \u2013 trigger \u2013 him. And obviously, since my generation&#8217;s children seem to have inadvertently bred a crop of fragile snowflakes, we can\u2019t have that.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt\u2019s triggering for me as someone who has never had an abortion. It upsets me that people are able to make other people question what is right for them and their health care through the lens of human rights,\u201d said Douglas.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Before anyone jumps to the conclusion that the woman filing the complaint is against free speech, she hastens to assure us that she is all for it.
