Here he is at the Vancouver Pride Parade sporting a placard designed to entice alcoholics off the wagon:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-24409\" src=\"https:\/\/anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Wine.jpg\" alt=\"wine\" width=\"231\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Wine.jpg 383w, https:\/\/www.anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Wine-115x300.jpg 115w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 231px) 100vw, 231px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>No, that didn&#8217;t help.<\/p>\n<p>Had I seen all this before becoming a Christian it might have put me off forever. God, in his mercy, spared me all this emerging, postmodern Pacific coastal culture, alphabet-sexuality affirming hideousness until I\u2019d built up an immunity.<\/p>\n<p>I am going to my <em>safe space<\/em> to recuperate now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have no idea what that means but the clergy of St. Bridget\u2019s in the Diocese of New Westminster must because they are doing it.
