David Jenkins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Avian celebrations would be premature however, since <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/obituaries\/2016\/09\/04\/the-right-reverend-david-jenkins-bishop-of-durham--obituary\/\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a> David Jenkins was the Bishop of Durham who cemented his credentials as an authentic Anglican bishop by denying the virgin birth and bodily resurrection of Jesus &#8211; among other things.<\/p>\n<p>To distinguish between the two of us, a few years ago I wrote a song about Jesus&#8217; resurrection called Risen Lord.
