{"id":24327,"date":"2016-08-29T13:32:27","date_gmt":"2016-08-29T17:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/?p=24327"},"modified":"2016-08-29T13:33:58","modified_gmt":"2016-08-29T17:33:58","slug":"sex-in-the-diocese-of-niagara","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/sex-in-the-diocese-of-niagara\/","title":{"rendered":"Sex in the Diocese of Niagara"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Anglican Church of Canada would like you to believe that it has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anglicanjournal.com\/articles\/-hiltz-why-can-t-anglicans-care-about-issues-other-than-sexuality\" target=\"_blank\">more important things<\/a> on its mind than sex; homosexual sex, in particular.<\/p>\n<p>In Canada, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.statcan.gc.ca\/eng\/dai\/smr08\/2015\/smr08_203_2015#a1\" target=\"_blank\">around 0.12% of the population<\/a> are same-sex couples in a civil marriage. Of those, the number pining for a liturgical Anglican seal of approval on their matrimonial state would be even smaller, to the extent that they would represent an\u00a0extremely small portion of the Canadian population. So the ACoC <em>should<\/em> have more important things on its mind.<\/p>\n<p>But it doesn\u2019t.
