<\/p>\nOklahoma Satanists want to erect a monument to Satan, claiming that they are entitled to equal time with Christians. The monument will be tasteful \u2013 at least to Satanists – and will portray the \u201chistoric\/literary Satan\u201d. Here\u2019s a \u201cliterary\u201d version of Satan in the Ninth Circle of Hell from Dante\u2019s Inferno, although I doubt that that is what they have in mind. They may settle on the historical interpretation instead: a snake.<\/p>\n

For children, there will be an interactive display: push a button to see an animated depiction of Satanic child ritual abuse, perhaps.<\/p>\n
Such is the price of indiscriminate religious equality.<\/p>\n
