He <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/saskatchewan\/story\/2012\/04\/30\/sk-saskatoon-prayer-controversy-1204.html\" target=\"_blank\">complained<\/a> about the saying of grace at a volunteer appreciation night and now he is complaining that the City of Saskatoon is wishing everyone Merry Christmas on its buses.<\/p>\n<p>It violates his right to freedom from religion.<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/news.nationalpost.com\/2012\/12\/17\/saskatoon-bus-display\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The city of Saskatoon is facing the possibility of a human rights complaint after it refused to yank the \u201cMerry Christmas\u201d message from the top of its buses despite allegations of discrimination.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, local activist Ashu Solo vowed to take the matter to the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission, claiming the Christmas greetings violate his right to be free from religion.<\/p>\n<p>He said the salutation also favours Christianity over other religions, which is particularly problematic for Saskatoon\u2019s immigrant community, many of whom rely on bus service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChristmas messages on Saskatoon Transit buses make them feel like they need to convert to Christianity to be first-class citizens,\u201d he wrote in a complaint.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There is only one thing I can think of to say to Mr. Solo:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-18304\" alt=\"prayer2.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/ashu-solo-682x1024.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"901\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ashu Solo is a professional whiner or, to use the euphemism currently in vogue, \u201cactivist\u201d.
