Who knew?<\/p>\n<p>Using what people are familiar with to introduce them to Christ seems to me to be a good idea \u2013 after all, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts+17%3A16-34&amp;version=NIV\" target=\"_blank\">St. Paul did it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not sure that that is what is going on here, though; it could be just be a measure of the church\u2019s desperation to lure people into its sanctuaries \u2013 and once they are there, not know what to do with them.<\/p>\n<p>Is, as the event organiser Simon Cross says, the Incarnation really about having \u201ca bit of a laugh for Christmas\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-england-humber-20739354\">here<\/a>: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Very Heavy Christmas Carol Service was first held last year and is claimed by its organisers to be the only one in the UK.<br \/>\nAs well as carols, the service on Saturday evening will include specially written &#8220;Punk Poetry&#8221; lessons.<\/p>\n<p>Event organiser Simon Cross said the service was a &#8220;a bit of a laugh for Christmas&#8221;.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Here is last year\u2019s production:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_-GjSCbpD4Q?rel=0\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to the clergy lady in the video below, the Metal Culture has a lot in common with Christianity.
