I\u2019ve included the link for those who would like to arrive early and beat the rush.<\/p>\n<p>Andres Serrano is obsessed with putting photographs of his bodily fluids on display, along with the occasional corpse garnished with human excrement. In saner times, Serrano, would be recognised for what he is: someone who is mentally ill. In the twenty first century, however, he is an artist.<\/p>\n<p>The same government that paid for Serrano to pee into a jam jar containing a crucifix, has piously <a href=\"The%20U.S.%20deplores%20any%20intentional%20effort%20to%20denigrate%20the%20religious%20beliefs%20of%20others.\" target=\"_blank\">intoned<\/a>: \u201cThe U.S. deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.\u201d I suppose the key to understanding this is in the word \u201cothers\u201d: denigrating the religious beliefs one\u2019s <em>own<\/em> citizens is a federally funded obligation.<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/radio.foxnews.com\/toddstarnes\/top-stories\/wh-silent-over-demands-to-denounce-piss-christ-artwork.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Religious groups are blasting President Obama for not condemning am anti-Christian art display set to appear in New York City and one Republican lawmaker said he is \u201cfed up with the administration\u2019s double standard and religious hypocrisy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPiss Christ,\u201d once branded as a \u201cdeplorable, despicable display of vulgarity,\u201d will be displayed at the Edward Tyler Nahem Gallery in Manhattan on Thursday. The artwork features a \u201cphotograph of the crucifix submerged in the artist\u2019s urine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The artwork debuted in 1989 and was funded through prize money provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
