{"id":14628,"date":"2011-10-20T19:39:05","date_gmt":"2011-10-20T23:39:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/?p=14628"},"modified":"2011-10-20T19:39:05","modified_gmt":"2011-10-20T23:39:05","slug":"richard-dawkins-debates-william-lane-craig-from-the-safety-of-the-guardian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/richard-dawkins-debates-william-lane-craig-from-the-safety-of-the-guardian\/","title":{"rendered":"Richard Dawkins debates William Lane Craig from the safety of the Guardian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Richard Dawkins has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/commentisfree\/2011\/oct\/20\/richard-dawkins-william-lane-craig?CMP=twt_fd\" target=\"_blank\">stated<\/a> as one of his reasons for refusing to debate William Lane Craig that Craig is a \u201cChristian &#8216;philosopher&#8217; [who] is an apologist for genocide\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He then goes on to quote Craig\u2019s understanding of the Biblical passage on the destruction of the Canaanites \u2013 and labels Craig as \u201c an apologist for genocide\u201d. In doing this, Dawkins <em>is<\/em> debating Craig, without giving Craig the opportunity to respond.<\/p>\n<p>Two can play at that game, of course. So here is Richard Dawkins smiling cheerily at the idea of cannibalism:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PWGVCtGgqIA\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And here he is advocating infanticide:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YWkJ6cZ0FY8\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>But would he eat the murdered babies?
