Now they have become quite a bit stranger: you can send a \u201cyou may have caught an STD from me\u201d e-card to your friend, bishop, whatever.<\/p>\n<p>For the immoderate sower of wild STD oats, you can send a card to six people at once, along with a personal message &#8211;\u00a0 something touching like &#8220;Thank you for being part of my life and if you&#8217;ve seen any unusual lumps or sores, lately, I might know why.&#8221;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-13815\" title=\"li-sti-ecard\" src=\"https:\/\/anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/li-sti-ecard.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"347\" height=\"195\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/british-columbia\/story\/2011\/08\/08\/bc-sti-email-notification.html?ref=rss\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The e-cards, which can be sent anonymously, are pithy and to the point.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sometimes there are strings attached,&#8221; reads one. &#8220;I got diagnosed with STDs since we were together. Get checked out soon.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another says: &#8220;It&#8217;s not what you brought to the party, it&#8217;s what you left with. I left with an STI. You might have, too.
