If Jesus was wrong and, as Ingham says, \u201call the great religions are authentic pathways to God\u201d, Jesus blundered rather badly, didn\u2019t really need to die on the cross for our sins and suffered from delusions of grandeur.<\/p>\n<p>Or perhaps it\u2019s Michael Ingham who suffers the delusions.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s very difficult to see how someone can be a Christian and not take one of Jesus\u2019 major claims seriously; it\u2019s even harder to see how that person could be a bishop in a Christian church \u2013 but, then, he is a bishop in the Anglican Church of Canada.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Christians believe that when Jesus said \u201cno-one comes to the Father except through me\u201d, he meant it.
