Here is a photo of the <em>emerging<\/em> congregation:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12108\" title=\"St.-Matthews-congregation-March-6-2011\" src=\"https:\/\/anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/St.-Matthews-congregation-March-6-2011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"298\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Funnily enough, while occupying St. Matthews with fifteen squatters, the diocese has been busy closing what it sees as non-viable parishes with a far higher number of parishioners.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vancouver.anglican.ca\/News\/tabid\/27\/Mode\/ViewArticle\/ArticleId\/953\/Default.aspx\">fond farewell<\/a> from St. John&#8217;s, Burnaby:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12110\" title=\"The last peace at St. Johns Burnaby web\" src=\"https:\/\/anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/The-last-peace-at-St.-Johns-Burnaby-web.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"455\" height=\"342\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vancouver.anglican.ca\/News\/tabid\/27\/Mode\/ViewArticle\/ArticleId\/613\/Default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, from St. Peter\u2019s:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12109\" title=\"StPetersBaptism1\" src=\"https:\/\/anglicansamizdat.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/StPetersBaptism1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"232\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Notice the difference?
