Wade that established a woman\u2019s right to an abortion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am committed to protecting this constitutional right,\u201d Mr. Obama said in a statement. \u201cI also remain committed to policies, initiatives, and programs that help prevent unintended pregnancies, support pregnant women and mothers, encourage healthy relationships, and promote adoption.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Obama, the father of two young daughters, called on Americans to \u201crecommit ourselves more broadly to ensuring that our daughters have the same rights, the same freedoms, and the same opportunities as our sons to fulfill <em>[sic]<\/em> their dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Obama said the 1973 Supreme Court ruling \u201caffirms a fundamental principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What a pile of drivel.<\/p>\n<p>Killing an unborn baby has nothing whatsoever to do with a person fulfilling his or her dreams: for sane married couples, having children <em>is<\/em> their dream and a career is the means of supporting the dream.<\/p>\n<p>If killing an unborn child is a <em>family matter<\/em> upon which government should not intrude, infanticide would be too. Obviously this is rubbish since the government\u2019s job is to restrain evil, particularly evil inflicted on the innocent and vulnerable.
