  1. Considering that Michael Bird virtually shares top place in the apostasy camp with now retired Michael Ingham, nothing is surprising. The tragedy is that they are causing people to believe that living in a sinful relationship can be blessed. One can only ask when the apostate primate will finally wake up and stand up for the Gospel.

    • Yes, legal due partially to the actions of many misguided Christians who have been led to believe that “political correctness” — what a deceptive term — is the route to follow. Much of the blame for this rests with so-called bishops such as Michael Ingham and Michael Bird who have traded any allegiance to the Gospel for “political correctness”. The Anglican Communion will definitely descend into the abyss unless some corrective action is taken.

      • I am still disappointed that our Conservative Government does not even attempt to outlaw same-sex marriage. Any current man-made law can be repealed in the future.

          • As long as the present judges in the Supreme Court of Canada hold their position there is no possible way to repeal the law. Further the Liberals and the NDP would not support any such motion.

            • Conservative Government has the majority votes to make decisions; it can ignore the wishes of the Liberals and the NDP. As Christians we believe God is more powerful than our Supreme Court of Canada. If we believe God is right in creating opposite-sex relationships, we should never giving up fighting for what is right. We should never stop praying to God and ask for divine help. God, who sees the past, the present, and the future at a single moment, will triumph in all things.

        • The Conservative Party is no more (and no less) Christian than any other party. Like on the abortion topic, all parties hold very similar views.

  2. “Why do ye such things? For I hear of your evil dealings by all this people…it is no good report that I hear: ye make The LORD’s people to transgress. If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him:
but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him?” + I Samuel 2:22-36.

  3. I could not help but notice that within the “LGBTQ” inclusivity that there was no:
    H for Heterosexual,
    S for Straight, nor
    N for Normal.
So what am I to make from this “noticeable by its absence” situation. The only thing that I can think of that despite all their claims and attempts to portray themselves as “inclusive” they are hell bent on excluding people like me.
