Plans to evict anti-capitalist protesters from St. Paul’s

And the first one to go is Canon Giles Fraser:

Canon Dr Giles Fraser, chancellor of St Paul’s Cathedral, has resigned amid plans to forcibly remove Occupy London anti-capitalist protesters from the landmark’s churchyard.

  1. This is indicative of the lack of thinking on the part of the protestors. They had a valuable ally in Fraser. Now that he has removed himself from a prominent position within the Church his voice will be less influential. no doubt that he will land on his feet somewhere else, most likely within the Church. But there should be no doubt as to where his loyalties lie!

  2. Stuart, a tit can serve a useful purpose. I fail to see that Canon Fraser, as Chancellor of Saint Paul’s Cathedral was any more use than an ashtray on a motorcycle.
